IMPHAL, September 27: A massive joint counter insurgency operation was conducted by Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal district commandos. The operation commenced from the wee hours of Wednesday and concluded at 11 am today.
The CI operations were held in the areas of Torongthel, Andro Khunou,Kamu Maring and Heirok Land but there has been no reports of any UG suspects being arrested. It may be mentioned that the search was held post a bomb explosion which occurred at Andro Torongthel on September 25.
