IMPHAL, Sept 22: The Manipur State Pensioners` Union has urged the state Chief Minister to make avail the 7 per cent DA/DR to all the state employees and pensioners as in all the adjoining states as directed by the central government.
In a statement issued, the state pensioners` reminded the Chief Minister about the memorandum submitted earlier on September 17 regarding the 7 per cent increase enjoyed by all employees and pensioners in the rest of the north eastern states including, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Assam.
