IMPHAL, September 8: Soon after an IED explosion along the Airport road left two including a civilian and a security personnel with minor injuries, the proscribed PLA claimed responsibility for the explosion in a press statement.
According to the statement of the outfit signed by Revolutionary People’s Front department of publicity chief Taohangsu Heiremcha, the IED explosion was aimed at the troops of 18 Sikh Regiment who were patrolling in the area.
The statement has further claimed that it will continue with the targeting Indian security forces on patrol and further urged the general public to stay away from such security forces patrolling.
