IMPHAL, September 14: The state election commission, SEC declared the polls held at certain polling station as void and fresh poll will be conducted on September 15, a statement from the secretary, SEC said.
The names of the polling station and the districts were listed as Phunal Maring Jr high school of Imphal east, Andro Khunou UJB school also Imphal East, Yengkhom Leirak Community Hall and Nambul Mapal high school of Imphal west, Wangjing Khunou LP school of Thoubal district and Phuballa high school, Thanga Samukol Primary school and Thanga Salam government high school of Bishnupur district.
Fresh poll will also be conducted for Wangjing Khunou LP school on September 15 from 7 am onwards till 4 pm official statement said today.
Fres poll for Phunal Maring pt II and Andro Khunou will also take place on September 15 during 7 am till 4 pm.
In another statement, counting of votes for 3 Zilla Parishads of CD Block Thoubal, including Turel Ahanbi Atoukhong Z.P., Leishangthem Z.P. and Maibam Uchiwa Z.P. will be held at Deputy Commssioner/DEO Thoubal New Building, BDO, Thoubal.
