IMPHAL, September 23: Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai meira paibis staged a sit in protest today against the grenade explosion at the residence of PDA Executive Engineer Loitongbam Kesho on September 21 around 10pm.
The sit in protest was held at Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai community hall.
Speaking to media persons, a protestor while condemning the violence, demanded clarification from the responsible outfit or individual and urged not to repeat such incidents in residential areas in the future.
The protesters further said such violence disturb the peace of the residential localities and as such should not be continued.
Meanwhile, police had said that the bomb is suspected to have been lobbed by unidentified persons, however there was not much damage in the explosion.
