IMPHAL, Oct 6 (NNN): Two jawans hailing from 6/8 Gorkha Regiment were injured after they were being attacked by suspected militants at around 9:30 am today.
A police source said ther incident occurred at Kheljang village under Churachandpur district which is 7 km away from Loktak Project of Bishnupur district.
The source said, the two jawans identified as Manoj Subhas (23), a Lance Naik and one Anil Adhikari (25), a fifleman have been undergoing treatment at the Army Hospital, Leimakhong.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
