IMPHAL, October 31: The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit along with political parties, meira paibi leaders, student bodies and MPs of the state will stage a sit in protest at the National Capital at Jantar Mantar on November 25, if the government fail to implement ILP by November 15.
This was said by convenor of the Joint Committee, Sapamcha Jadumani speaking with media persons on the sideline of a demonstration held today.
Members of the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit staged a sit in protest at Keishampat Lairembi community hall today, demanding the government to take up steps for the implementation of Inner Line Permit system in the state.
It may be mention here that the Joint Committee has already announced November 15 as deadline for the government to implement ILP in the state.
