IMPHAL, Oct 5: The Thadou Students’ Association Chandel District (TSA-CDL), in a release, said that they strongly condemned the alleged brutal murder of Kh Catherine alias Sangthoi Lamkang, 19, daughter of Kh Simon Lamkang of New Lamkang Khunthak in Chandel District, who was a class X student of St Paul’s High School, Komlathabi Liwachaning.
TSA-CDL has urged the concerned government authorities to immediately look into the matter and booked the culprit(s) at the earliest and to take up necessary steps to bring an environment which is free from such circumstances in the future.
Further, it has said that the student body will extend its support to the JAC, which was formed in regard to the incident, in fulfilling their demands.
