IMPHAL,November 8: The 23 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 7 Sector Assam Rifles donated 18 Beds to the ‘House of Hope Hospital’ in the ongoing medical camp organisedunder supervision of Senior Medical Officer at Longbang village near Hakchang village, Tuensang from 7 -14 November 2012.
According to the press release, the Village Authority joined by the prominent personalities of the locality thanked 23 Assam Rifles for their efforts in looking after the medical needs of the local population and in reaching to their hearts and mind.
The authority further exhorted the locals to fully utilise this opportunity and get maximum benefit of medical facilities at their doorsteps. It added that the Commandant 23 Assam Rifles also called upon the general public to support the cause of security for prosperity and progress of the region. He assured the general public of his cooperation and sincere efforts in bringing development and prosperity to the region, it said.
