IMPHAL, November 16: The Indian Medical Association along with the PrajapitabhramaKumarisIshwariyaVishwaVidyalaya convened a press conference at the Imphal branch of the Brahma Kumaris at Kwakeithel this evening in connection with the “1st Mind, Body and Medicine Conference, Imphal”.
The press conference was conducted by executive secretary, Medical WIng RERF, Ever Healthy Hospital, Shantivan, Dr BanarsilalSah, medical director and cancer specialist, Global Hospital, Mt Abu, Dr Ashok R Mehta, cardiologist in the three Dimensional Health Care, Mt Abu, Dr RatanRathore and in charge, Brahmakumaris Manipur, RajyoginiBrahmakumariNilima, IMA president and managing director Shija Hospitals Dr Kh Palin and surgeon Dr Jugindra.
During the press conference, Dr Palin said 650 doctors from the state have registered themselves for the November 18 conference and added that the organizers are expecting at least 1000 doctors to register.
While saying that there are 2000 doctors in the state, he has appealed to all to attend the conference which would be beneficial to them in the long run.
