Eco-clubs without funds

IMPHAL, Nov 3: The All Manipur Recognised Private Schools Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) have decried the non-release of funds for opening Eco-Clubs due to the lack of a settled chairman in Manipur Pollution Control Board, through a press release from its Secretary.

It further added that due to the lack of chairman of board, the funds that are granted by Ministry of Environment and Forest, that are usually released during the beginning of the year, through District Implementation and monitoring committee (DCIM), is still pending even till November.  It further decries the unreleased of fund due to lack of chairman. Further the association appeals the government to appoint a chairman or to make an arrangement to solve the issue.
