Two men commission set up on MSL match fixing allegations

IMPHAL, November 12: The All Manipur Football Association has constituted a two men enquiry commission consisting of renowned sportspersons to investigate the widespread allegations of match fixing in match nos 53 and 55 of the 7th Manipur State League played on October 22 and 23.

The two members of the commission are Soram Lokeshor Singh and Laishram Nabakumar Singh.

Meanwhile, the commission has invited players, officials and anyone willing to appear before the commission to present their statements supported by documents to submit their names and other details within November 19 and 26.

Following the constitution of the enquiry, the executive council of the AMFA has decided not to permit any of the four clubs involved in the match nos 53 (AIM vs NEROCA) and 55 (SSU vs MPSC) to participate in any AMFA tournament and any recognized by AIFF till the disposal of the matter by commission.
