IMPHAL, December 2: In the wake of the reported Rs 224 crore Loktak scam, BJP leaders will conduct an inspection tour of Loktak lake tomorrow.
NE Zonal organizing secretary of BJP, P Chandra Shekhar Rao has arrived here at around 9:30 am from Delhi. He will be in Imphal for two days specially to have a ground check on the ‘Loktak scam.’
The BJP zonal leader will be accompanied by state BJP unit leaders and media persons in his inspection tour to Loktak Lake tomorrow at around 8:30 am.
During their inspection tour, the team will be inspecting work progress of K-Pro infra Pvt Ltd and will also inspect the floating biomass dumping sites in Thanga.
It may be mentioned here that MP of Maharashtra Prakash Javedkar have also raised many questions regarding the ‘Loktak scam’ at the Rajya Sabha.
The BJP zonal leader, speaking to media persons, charged Chief Minister O Ibobi and his relatives for their involvement in the ‘Loktak scam’ and demanded an investigation by an investigative agency of the Chief Minister and his family members’ properties.
The BJP leader also charged Congress MP from Andhra Pradesh, Dr Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and his brother K Bhaskar Rao of involvement in the ‘Loktak scam.’
