IMPHAL, December 30: Dr Shabir H Wani (Ph. D.), Programme coordinator (i/c) of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre) Senapati District, Manipur was conferred with Fellow of the Society for Plant Research Award 2011-12 at the International Conference on Biotechnology (BTBS-2012) held at NASC complex, PUSA road New Delhi during December 26-27, said a release of KVK Chandel.
Earlier he had also been awarded the YOUNG SCIENTIST Award (2009) from the society for promotion of plant science research, Jaipur National University, Jaipur. He has published forty three papers in Journals of international repute and authored sixteen (16) book chapters and edited one book besides attending many national and international conferences, the release added.
