IMPHAL, Dec 2: “The council under a new policy will take up measures to streamline education and under this policy, proxy substitution; impersonation will be dealt with as per service rule”
This was said by the Chairman of Sadar Hill’s Autonomous District Council, Haokholal Hangshing, speaking at the inaugural function of Waithou Chiru U.J.B School today.
Hangshing, who attended the function as the chief guest, appealed to the respective village chiefs for cooperation saying that the interference of chiefs in the school’s functioning will not be allowed.
He also applauded the villagers, as the school was completed from the donations of the villagers as the school has received only 45 percent of MSDP fund (2010-2011) for the school building.
The inaugural function was also attended by CEO of SHADC, Chongpu Kipgen, MDC member, Dominic Kansouwa, Chairman of MGNREGS MDC, Lunkhohen Haokip and Chairman of Education MDC, Hemjathang as the functional president and guests of honour respectively.
