IMPHAL, Dec 3: A man who was dumped along the Hatta GOlapati main road in front of the Orient Hotel after knifing him on the face has been admitted at the JNIMS this late evening around 8:10pm.
The man has been identified as Lenkham Vaiphei, 45 son of Nekcha Vaiphei of Gotang Kot village, under Yairipok Police station.
When asked about how he received the injury, the man said he can remember having a party with his friends but cannot remember how he was injured.
According to eyewitnesses, Lenkham was dumped from a moving van in front of the Orient hotel. The Maruti was closely followed by a motorcycle, they said.
He was rushed to the Public Hospital, Hatta Golapati from where he was shifted to the JNIMS.
