IMPHAL, December 2: 36 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) has organized a National Integration Tour to Kolkata under ‘Op Sadbhavana’ for the children of Samtal Salient.
According to a PRO release, the tour which included 28 Children and 2 teachers from Sehlon, Changjal, Phoilen, Tuitong, M Bijangphai, JM Moljol, Wayang, Old Samtal and New Samtal villages of Chandel district were flagged off from Kakching by Colonel Sandeep Singh Bajaj, Additional Sector Commander HQ 28 Sector on 1 December. The aim of this Tour is to make them inculcate the feeling of being the part of main stream and also to show them that they belong to a State which is striving to be a developed and prosperous, it added.
