IMPHAL, December 20: A unit of Vishal Mega Mart one of India’s largest retail chains was inaugurated today at Laipham Khunou, Imphal East in a simple ceremony organized by the management and staff of Sigma Pvt Ltd. However, the Mega Mart could not be made open to public today in relation with the one day bandh on markets in greater Imphal area with regard to the call for ILP implementation in the state, called by FREINDS.
Presided over by Managing Director of Sigma Pvt Ltd, Seram Ranjitkumar Singh; the occasion was attended by Minister Social Welfare AK Mirabai, Zonal Manager of Central Bank of India Pramod Kumar Mohanty, and Business Head of Vishal Mega Mart, India Aashish Kataria as Chief Guest and guest of honour respectively.
