IMPHAL, December 14: The state level Youth festival which commenced on December 10 at the Kangsang Khuman Lampak concluded today.
The festival was organized by the department of Youth Affairs & Sports.
The function was attended by Yaiskul MLA, Elangbam Chand Singh, Join Director, Youth Affairs & Sports, Kh Pramoda Devi as chief guest and president respectively.
During the function, Elangbam Chand said, the youth festival plays an important role in bringing the youth together from various corners of the state and to create a feeling of oneness amongst them.
Such festivals also teach the participants to respect other communities, he said.
He further said that, one should not concentrate only in their studies but should indulged in other co-curricular activities so that one is mentally and physically developed.
