BJP calls Manipur Govt weak

IMPHAL, January 10: The BJP, Manipur Pradesh today held a reception cum get together function of its party leaders, elected ZPs, Pradhans, GP Members, Councillors and Ward Members at the party’s Nityaipat Chuthek office. The function was attended by Tapir  Gao, National General Secretary, BJP and P Chandra Sekhar  Rao, Zonal Organising Secretary, NE states, BJP.

The significance of the function was also marked by the launching of the state unit’s website by P Chandra Sekhar Rao who said that any update regarding the party will be available from this website.

Thounaojam Chaoba, President, BJP, Manipur Pradesh who presided over the function said that BJP is the only party which can oppose Congress in the state and further blamed Congress for their weak action while dealing with the Momoco incident which had led the state into the brink of a catastrophe.

Tapir Gao in his speech said that efforts and hard work is needed not only for the BJP but for the development of the state and for the country also and maintained that Manipur CM O Ibobi Singh has failed to work towards the development of the state despite its rich legacy  in art and traditions as well as in literature.

Speaking at the function P Chandra Sekhar Rao said that there can be no development in the state unless the present government is ousted.
