IMPHAL, January 31: The identity of a person whose skeleton remains was found yesterday afternoon at a gorge in Chullouphai village under Saikul police station has been ascertained by the police today.
The deceased has been identified as Akoijam Kunjamohon (58) son of (L) Nilamani of Kongpal Mutum Leikai.
According to a source, he went missing since he left home on October 6 last at around 7 am and is also said to be mentally unsound.
His family members had lodged a missing report with the Porompat police station on October 13 last. His body remains were handed over to his family members today after a post mortem was conducted at RIMS.
