SENAPATI, Jan 24 (NNN): Even as the Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC) sponsored agitation has begun from 5 pm today demanding for a political dialogue with Kuki militant outfits, the United Naga Council (UNC) has said that the agitations should not be allowed in `Naga areas`.

UNC has said that the responsibility for any `misunderstanding` during the bandh should be held responsible by the bandh sponsors.

“We respect every community. The Nagas respect every ethnic group and their aspirations. However, political aspiration based on artificiality will not serve any good except to bring confusion among the people,” the UNC stated.

Meanwhile, the KSDC sponsored public blockade has begun this evening in Kuki inhabited areas.
