IMPHAL, Feb 6: A driver and a handyman of a Tata truck transporting sugar for FCI, bearing registration number NL-O1G-8914, who were allegedly abducted by unidentified persons from near M-Songlung Khun on National Highway No 2 under Sapermeina police station yesterday afternoon are still traceless.
The identity of the two could not be ascertained as the owner of the truck has not arrived yet.
A combined team of 43 Assam Rifles and Manipur police have launched a massive manhunt in the surrounding jungles of M-Songlung today but failed to come up with any leads.
