IMPHAL, Feb 15: A press releaseissued by the the Loktak Downstream Hydroelectric Corporation Limited of Manipur has informed to the general public that the environment clearance to the Loktak downstream hydroelectric project (66 MV), situated in the Tamenglong district of Manipur has been accorded by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India.
Copies of the clearance letter are available with the Manipur Pollution Control Board,Imphal and also at the http:/www.moef.nin.in,it said.
