LAMKA, February 28: A press statement handed out to the press by Thadou Kuki Students’ Union (TKSU) stated that it has been deeply saddened by the February 26 bomb blast in Churachandpur.
It said that though the act may have been reasonable to those who triggered the IED, they have to respect the genuine public effort to usher in an era of peace and public order by maintaining respect for others and restraint in their approach of violence.
The act of destruction of human life be of a security personal is highly condemnable, it added.
While venting their heart out to the irrevocable loss, it appealed to the concerned to shun such actions in the future for possible strengthening of the social cohesive bond shared among the hills and the valley of our state, added the statement issued by Minthang Hanghal of the TKSU(GHQ).
