IMPHAL, March 5: The Directorate of Information and Public Relation (DIPR) has condoled the sudden demise of Naorem Shamo Singh of Thoubal Kiyam Siphai, who had served at the DIPR for a long period of time, on the intervening night of March 4 and 5.
A condolence meeting held today at the office room of the Director at DIPR office at Moirangkhom observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Shamo joined DIPR as a stenographer grade-II in 1984 and was presently serving as PA of the Director.
