IMPHAL, Mar 23: The dead body of the electrician, Gautum Sikhdar (27), son of Paresh Sikhdar of Siliguri Assam at present staying at a flourmill located at Chumbreithong who was electrocuted on March 21 was handed to family members after post mortem at JNIMS morgue today.
The dead body of 16 Assam Riffles personal Havaldar Mahendra who succumbed to his injuries at Leimakhong army hospital due to an improvised explosive device (IED ) blast yesterday morning at around 8.55 along Leirongthel Lamkhai under Yairipok police station in Thoubal district was flown back to his native place after post mortem was conducted at JNIMS morgue.
Meanwhile, the dead body of Th Kiran has now been handed over to family members after lying as an unclaimed body from March 19 after his dead body was found floating in a fish farm located at Komlakhong Konuma Makha Leikai under Mayang Imphal police station. The post mortem of Th Kiran was conducted yesterday in front of a magistrate with full video coverage.
