IMPHAL, March 13: A point 36 Indian made hand grenade was recovered by the police from a pond at Tongbram Leikai near SAI Complex in Imphal West under Lamphel police station this morning at around 10 am.
The bomb was found by the job card holders of MGNREGS while they were digging the pond. A team of Lamphel police pick up the bomb and later exploded it safely.
