IMPHAL, March 6: A statement of the proscribed RPF has claimed that its investigation have found that two personnel of the Assam Rifles were killed and three others injured during an attack by a tactical command of the outfit on February 21 at Saibol village, Chandel. It has further said that the act of the AR to assault the nearby villagers after the attack is to creat a rift among the people and the outfit.
However, the people understand the real objective of the outfit and will never steer away from the outfit, it said.
It continued that the PLA has been successful in several operations due to the cooperation from the people. It further continued that the outfit will continue to attack the security forces. The statement signed by its secretary publicity, Roben Khuman has also thanked the people of Manipur for their support.
