KCP(MC) claims it will deliver justice in Satyabhama case

IMPHAL, April 7: The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (Military Council) has in a statement said that the party strongly condemned the killing of Ningombam Satyabhama alias Benao (31), whose dead body was recovered from Bashikhong Wangkhei Loumanbi Loukon.

A statement of the party signed by its Information & Publicity secretary Paikhomba Meitei said that Civil Military Court of the Central Security Council of KCP (MC) will take up the matter to deliver justice into the alleged crime.

It claimed that the  party has started an investigation into the case and has suspicion of the involvement of some individuals from near Lalambung and Singjamei.

The party has given a time of 5 days to those who are involved in the alleged crime to voluntarily surrender to the party while warning that if they failed to so, it will execute a shoot at sight order and also warned that the party might even go to the extent of awarding capital punishment to the families of those who are involved in the alleged crime including women and children or might exile them, the statement further said.

These people who have committed this heinous crime are a gang of people who are well connected with police commandos and they are trying to tarnish the image of the revolutionary groups, the statement said.  The party will not tolerate any kind of harassment, exploitation, oppression etc to women, it added.
