Kohima alive with “The Beatles Mania” show

KOHIMA, Apr 29 (NEPS): Kohima was revisited and relived by the rare, unique and memorable oldies of The Beatles presented by the 3 local bands – Cadence, Legame Di Voci and Rahab, on Saturday evening here at The Heritage (Old DC Bungalow). The memorable musical show was organized under the theme of “The Beatles Mania” by the “Aspire.” The objective of this show was to stage a musical show sometime after just the summer to pay a rich “Tribute” to a legendary local singer “Methanielie,” said Oken Jeet Sandham, Editor of the NEPS, while opening the “Show.”

All the bands enthralled the crowd with the most memorable and never-ending numbers of “The Beatles” of the 60s. The famous songs of The Beatles – “Hey Jude”, “Imagine”, “Don’t let me down”, etc. were among others sung by the bands. In fact, the performances by the three bands were unique to each other, besides it had given an opportunity to revive and bring back memories of the eternal “songs” of the famed “The Beatles.”

Chief Guest of  “The Beatles Mania Show,” Dr Nicky Kire, Parliamentary Secretary, Law and Justice, Land Revenue and Labor and Employment, while sharing about the unparalleled band of the 20th Century, expressed his deep happiness on the organizers for staging such a meaningful gig. He also assured that he would always extend support and cooperation in whatever manner possible for the promotion of music in the state. He also presented a song- “All my love” along with the three band members.
