IMPHAL, April 19: The Tamphasana Girls’ Higher Secondary School Students’ Union submitted a memorandum to the Education Minister Moirangthem Okendro Singh today demanding to fill up the lapses of the school with the rider that if the demands are not converted to actions sooner, it would launch intense agitations from April 21, 2013.

The  memorandum has asked why there is no Regular Principal and Vice Principal in the school and pointed out that as per the order of DP and the agreement in the Principal’s Order of Principal under contract basis,  a Principal whose signature is not valid and has no power of DDO cannot assume charge.

It has also asked which higher secondary schools in Manipur have reappointed a Principal who has retired from service and added that the improper laboratory and toilet of the school is causing danger, and called for a Regular Principal and Vice Principal to be appointed sooner.
