Lilong 14th Apr 2013: RAHMANI-30 brings hope to more than 100 of IIT aspirants in Manipur to get admission in IIT institutionRahmani-2012s. Rahmani-30 is a free residential coaching center run by Munger based Rahmani Foundation under the patronage of Maulana Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani and academic mentorship of Bihar DGP Abhayanand, famous for Super 30.
It may be termed as beginning of a new era where educated youths and professionals of Manipur living across the globe are coming together through intellectual networking and adopting volunterism & transperancy as tool to execute such development work. The examination centre is open by Manipuri Muslim Online Forum (MMOF) from this year. Rahmani-30 selects every year Muslim Students (Boys) on the basis of written test and interview/viva and imparts education and training free of cost so that Muslim students may be able to complete in this high educative society.
Rahmani-2013(1)All together 124 students appeared the test conducted at Lilong Hr. Sec. Madrassa out of 145 application form submitted. The absence of some students were mainly from Yairipok region and due to local bandh imposed on death of a youth from Phoudel area. This successful batch will be prepared for the 2015 IIT-JEE program. The decision was taken in meeting with Bihar DGP Abhayanand, academic mentor of Rahmani-30 with the center and chairman Maulana Wali Rahmani in presence of other faculty members of the coaching institute.
The forum members expressed their happiness on sucessful completion of the examination. Many of the volunteers especially came to Manipur from other parts of the country to execute the task which is unique in nature. The examination result will be announced through website as stated by member of the forum. The forum members requested every single citizen of Manipur to come forward and extend help and co-operation when such need arises.
