IMPHAL, April 19: A combined team of CDO Imphal East District and a column of 16 AR under the supervision of M Rajen Singh, Addl SP (Ops), IE arrested one UNLF (MPA) cadre namely M Rojer Meitei @ Tomba @ Thougaingamba (27) S/o Pungocha Meitei of Sangakpham Bazaar from his residence near DAV School, Sangakpham yesterday.
The statement disclosed that the said cadre joined UNLF (MPA) in November 2009 through one Laishangakpa @ Singjangmai, PT of UNLF (MPA) and got 90 days basic military training at Eastern Nagaland, Daka training centre, Burma under Army No. 2331 of 35th batch. One Nokia X2 mobile phone with one Airtel SIM were recovered from his possession, it said.
