IMPHAL, May 26: Kiyam Siphai Social Welfare Organization and the Khongahanbi Youth Association today felicitated International Wushu Gold Medalist Oinam Shanayai at the Advance Kids Care Centre, Babu Bazar at Thoubal District. The felicitation program was attended by Parliamentary Secretary of Minor Irrigation, Information and Public Relation K Meghachandra as chief guest, Laishram Bhubon councillor of Thoubal Municipal Council Ward no 15 as president.
Thoubal Municipal Councillors Yumnam Umakanta, Lourembam (o) Sujitra and Thingujam (o) Sundari attended the function as guests of honour.
Oinam Shanayai had earlier bagged the gold medal in the 11th International Wushu Championship held at Hong Kong, China from April 5-9.
