State delegation heads for Indo-Myanmar conclave

IMPHAL, May 25: Two teams of the state have left Imphal for Myanmar to attend the North-East India-Myanmar Business Conclave there.

In the first team, the state Chief Minister along with his wife MLA O Landhoni left Imphal for Kolkata Airport from where they will fly to Myanmar for the North-East India-Myanmar Business Conclave which will be held from May 26 to June 2 at several locations in Myanmar including at Mandalay.

In the meantime Chief Secretary DS Poonia also flagged off a high level delegation led by state Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam; PHED Minister, I Hemochandra; Works Minister Dr Kh Ratankumar; Parliamentary Secretary M Prithiviraj and including several other high ranking officials both civil and police of the state at 2pm.

It is learnt that the team led by Minister Govindas has reached Moreh and already started to proceed towards Myanmar.
