IMPHAL, May 19: S Sumati Devi, Secretary of the All Manipur Students’ Guardians Organisations (AMSGO) has appealed to the government to make an alternative arrangement for the street vendors since the authority has imposed a ban on street vendors vending their wares on the streets. Addressing a press conference, S Sumati said that there should be an alternative arrangement for street vendors to be allowed to vend their wares on the streets from 5 a.m. to 12.00 noon or they be allowed to sell their wares on the first floors of two buildings of Ima Keithel within one week failing which they will launch an agitation.
