IMPHAL, June 14: Atleast 12 cadres including a s/s second lieutenant of the Kuki National Liberation Front (KNLF) have surrendered before the 9th Assam Rifle post at Moreh today.
According to reliable sources, the surrendered KNLF cadres were led by s/s second lieutenant Lal Denga. The KNLF cadres laid down seven AK 47 rifles and four self loading rifles (SLR) along with ammunition before the 9 Assam Rifles.
