IMPHAL, June 30: An 18 year old girl was killed when her Honda Activa collided with a Churachandpur-Imphal passenger bus today around 11am in front of the Imphal Tulihal Airport under Lamphel Police station.
The incident happened when the deceased girl identified as Thoudam Dayarani (18), daughter of Kabi of Patsoi Part IV was coming out of the Gate No 2 of the airport.
Her moped bearing regd number MN 01-N-5907 met with an accident with a passenger bus bearing regd number MN 05 C 0141. She died on the spot.
The dead body has been handed over to family members after post mortem was conducted at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences.
Meanwhile, Lamphel Police have taken a case regarding the incident.
