IMPHAL, June 26: A training cum workshop on “Building with Bamboo” organised by Manipur State Bamboo Mission, Forest Department and South Asia Bamboo Foundation was inaugurated today at Conference hall forest department, Sanjenthong.
Speaking at the function PC Lawmkunga, Additional Chief Secretary said the bamboo product have to increase more by using scientific method.
The central government knows the bamboo product brought out from the North East states are attractive, but the quantity of bamboo product is very less as compared to other states, he said.
He continued that China has its own policy enrich the bamboo items.
