KANGPOKPI, June 1: Though the ATSUM bandh is all set to begin tomorrow there is no hint of any issue arising out of the bandh call along the National Highway that passes through Sadar Hills and Senapati district.

Since the Kuki Students` Organization Sadar Hills as well as Senapati District Student Association is not going to endorse the self styled ATSUM bandh, vehicular movement along NH-2 will not be affected. So day to day commercial and public transporters can take the highway as usual without any fear or confusion said Lamcha Chongloi, Secretary KSO-SH.

Instead, if anyone found endorsing the ATSUM bandh within Sadar Hills will be highly noted as against the KSO-SH as well as violators of the student body instructions. Such individuals will be dealt with accordingly as per the law of the organization, further added Lamcha.

Lamcha also informed all business establishments, educational institutions as well as Govt.institutions to carry out their respective duty effectively while sending out a warning note to all civil organizations and individuals not to disturb the movement of any vehicles along National Highway No.2.
