IMPHAL, June 16: United Development Association (UDA), Khangabok today organized open career counseling for the local students in an attempt to select a right job/profession accordingly.
L Kanhai Meitei, secretary UDA has said for organizing counseling session, selection of a stream for the students of class X and XII is compulsory and added that a right choice will help them in winning laurels while mentioning the role of guardians/parents in the process of selecting a right stream. He further said that guardians have limited knowledge thereby tending a conservative option of medical and engineering, thus students are going to the mistaken course which creates at a loss situation for them.
