NFP warns of legal action against failure to distribute Anganwadi honorarium

    IMPHAL, July 31 (NNN): The Naga Peoples Front, (NPF), Manipur State unit has threatened to take the state government of Manipur to the Court if the honourium for Anganwadi workers are not given at the earliest.

    The NPF also dismissed the likely introduction of Food Security Bill in Manipur as election gimmick.

    “For 14 months, the honourium of the Anganwadi workers have not been paid by the state government of Manipur and now this same government is talking tall on the Food Security Bill,” said the NPF, Manipur State unit and said, “We will not hesitate to take the matter to the law court of these poor Anganwadi workers are not paid.”
