IMPHAL, Sept 4: In view of the 3rd State Level Ching Tam Traditional & Cultural Festival 2013 to be held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium from September 4-8, the All Manipur Huiyen Lalong and Traditional Cultural Preservation Committee (AMHLATCPC) has fervently appealed to clubs, organisations and associations in the State not to resort to any kind of bandh, general strike and other intense agitation during the festival. In a statement, the Committee said the festival is being organised to preserve and promote the culture of Pung Cholon, traditional folk dance and Thang-Ta of the State and further appealed the people to take part in the festival.
