IMPHAL, Sept 30: A meeting of the All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) held today around 11 am at the Library Hall of the Union’s headquarter has unanimously elected Laishram Reagan, currently pursuing Master of Education in DM College of Teacher Education as the new general secretary of the students’ union for the term 2013-15.
A press statement of AMSU said Laishram Reagan was assigned the post of Gen secy following his predecessor Romen Leishangthem’s request to the executive committee of the union to release him from the post citing health issues.
