CADA condemnation

    IMPHAL, Sept 4: The Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) has strongly condemned the killing of Ayekpam Nobin (55), of Tera Sapam Leirak, an auto driver who was found killed with his throat slit on August 27 last at Waithou Tangjeng in Thoubal district.

    A statement issued by Geetchandra Mangang, Secy Information & publicity CADA slammed leaders of the government for remaining silent over the case adding that the government is the savior of the people and it should act swiftly on the killing of Nobin regardless of his background.

    Stating that those involved in the killing of Nobin should clarify on why he was executed capital punishment, CADA said Nobin should have given at least a chance to clarify even if he was being accused of any wrongdoing.
