India pharma reaches Manipur

    IMPHAL, Sept 5: India Pharma Revolution (IPR), New Delhi today said in a press conference that pharmacists are key players in health care sector and further continued that it acts as a main actor in manufacturing life saving drugs and also does research works in pharmaceutical science.

    The state coordinator of Manipur said that India Pharma Revolution, under the sponsorship of Udyog Development Foundation, started its Yatra on January 4, 2013 from Kashmir and targeted to end the Yatra at Kennyakumari in the month of December of the year. After having successful completion of the Yatra in the capital city of the state of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Utter Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Tripura, Mizoram and now reached in Manipur state.

    He expressed the objective of IPR Yatra is to create awareness among common people and policy makers alike about the role of pharmacists and also to strengthen the unity among the pharma profession across the entire country.

    The IPR Yatra is focusing on various issues of both state and national interest, the state coordinator continued.
