JD(U) to launch agitations

    IMPHAL, September 9: The Janata Dal (U) along with transporter bodies will launch agitations if the government fails to repair the NH 37 within the second week of October, said M Tombi, president, JD (U) during a press conference at its office today.

    He further said that they will visit further investigate the border fencing by the end of the month.

    He continued that the government has failed to take up any action on the loss of land due to the fencing even though a platoon of Myanmar army has already stationed at Holenphai.

    During the press conference, T Hangkhanpao Zou was appointed as General secretary and further established various branches of JD (U) for Churachandpur, Sadar Hills, Chandel, Senapati districts.
