IMPHAL, Sept 29: A cyclist, who was reportedly knocked down by a motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at RIMS hospital this afternoon. The cyclist has been identified as one Athokpam Manikchand (70), son of late A Ibobi of Irang Siphai Awang Leikai.
Police sources said that the cyclist was knocked down by a Yamaha motorcycle (MN01Y-8056) this morning at 10:50 am near Wangoi bazaar. He was rushed to RIMS hospital but succumbed to his injury around 12:30 pm. Police has registered a case in connection with incident.
