IMPHAL, September 4: A combined team of Imphal West police commandos, 43rd AR personnel and Senapati District Police arrested one hard cadre of PREPAK (Pro) during a search operation conducted today at Sompiyang village, Senapati District.
A statement issued by Superintendent of Police, Imphal West district identified the arrested cadre as Khaitlet Haokip (30), alias Khaiboi, son of Henkhomang of Sompiyang Village, Senapati District and further said that one half kg of IED (readymade), one 12 volt battery and two bundles of wire lenght about 150 meters were recovered from his possession.
The arrested accussed person along with the seized articles has been handed over to Sapermeina Police Station, it added.
